Description of hotel: Billingehus in Skövde

Billingehus is a great place to stay if you are looking for comfort. The hotel has a large spa and recreation centre with a heated pool, a relaxation area and a sauna. You have free entry to the wonderful spa centre. You should book spa treatments well in advance with the hotel itself. Enjoy a wonderful dinner in the restaurant that has a panoramic view, or relax in front of the fire in the lounge. The hotel often holds different events, everything from dance band evenings to sporting activities. There is a wonderful, illuminated ski slope outside the hotel. **All children under 14 receive a free evening meal (main course & ice cream) and a drink when eating with their parents in the restaurant between 18.00 and 22.00. There are many activities for you to choose from in the area. At the resort you can play adventure golf, while the Billingebadet baths have an outdoor pool that is open in the summer; entry is SEK 40/adult and SEK 30/child under 14, which you pay to the hotel itself. The barbecues are lit at lunchtime every day if you want to grill your own food. Billingehus is outside Skövde, a city that has so much to offer; everything from peaceful activities to much more adventurous ones. The centre of Skövde is home to Sweden's coolest and most modern baths with water aerobics, fun water activities (including slides) for both young and old, and a relaxation centre. You can go go-carting and bowling or visit the laser dome nearby. Billingen's golf course is in a beautiful location, in rolling countryside full of trees. In the area around Billingehus you can go mountain biking or go for a walk in the footsteps of the Arn, the Knight Templar. This is where many of the scenes from the film were recorded.
