Description of hotel: Scandic Hallandia in Halmstad

Scandic Hallandia has a relaxation centre, where you can wind down in the hot tub, sauna and steam shower. Hotel guests can use the centre free of charge in the evenings between 6 pm and 10 pm, and at weekends and between 10 am and 2 pm during the summer. It also has a brand new gym. The hotel's restaurant is called SVEA and serves a lunch buffet, an a la carte menu and brunch, while you can enjoy wonderful cocktails in the hotel bar. There are bikes available to hire at the hotel. You can take a stroll along the beautiful Prins Bertil path by the shore, or ride your bike through the beautiful city and discover the sights of Halmstad. The restaurant is closed from 24 to 26 December and on 31 December and 1 January, as well as on Sundays outside the period 30 June-11 August 2014.
