Description of hotel: Island Hotel Istra in Rovinj

This beautiful and popular island for bathing is just a short ferry ride from Rovinj. Besides the hotel, there is an excellent spa and a very good restaurant, housed in a renovated monastery. The pool area boasts two separate children's pools, a large free-form pool and a beautiful sun terrace. You never actually need to leave the island during your stay. There is a range of activities for both young and old. Similarly, your evenings are provided for with entertainment on most days of the week. Apart from the small electric golf buggies that carry your luggage, no motorised vehicles are allowed on the island. Transport between the island and the mainland is by shuttle boats which serve the Rovinj archipelago. The boats run once an hour 06.00-24.00 and are free of charge for hotel guests. Free parking is available in the hotel car park on the mainland. Internet access is included in the room rate. Wireless Internet is available in the public areas.
