Description of hotel: Island Hotel Katarina in Rovinj

Hotel Katarina is situated on a small island with a splendid view of the sea and the old and historic town centre of Rovinj. The island is the second-largest in the small Rovinj archipelago and it has wonderful greenery in a large park-like area, which was landscaped as early as the 19th century. The island's castle, which was built during the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy has been partially preserved and is now part of the hotel. This gives the place a nice, romantic feel and it is easy to enjoy life on the island from the moment you arrive. The island offers excellent opportunities for a range of water sports. For children, there is a kids' club, a playground and special evening activities. Adults can enjoy dance music with a live band, shows and concerts. Wireless Internet is available in the rooms and pubic areas. Transport between the island and the mainland is by shuttle boats which serve the Rovinj archipelago. The boats run once an hour 06.00-24.00 and are free of charge for hotel guests. Free parking in the hotel car park on the mainland.
