In Österlen there are beautiful excursion destinations, the medieval castle Glimmingehus, Kiviks Musteri, Autoseum Simrihamn, Ales Stenar near Kåseberga, Tosselilla Sommerland in Tomelilla and there are several farm shops scattered throughout the region. Good location between Simrishamn and Ystad where many of Wallander's crime novels are set. In Simrishamn you can taste the local wine production at the Nordic Sea Winery, and the town is also home to galleries and studios. You are also sure to enjoy a walk along the Österlen coast.
