The window front allows plenty of light into the house, even on cloudy days, and after a long day you can cosy up together by the fireplace in the evening and start a game. Children can play and let off steam in the large garden with a swing and sandpit, while the adults relax and watch from the veranda. Take advantage of the luxurious facilities with corner bath and sauna. Skaven Strand attracts visitors with a child-friendly white sandy beach and ideal conditions for windsurfing. Buy freshly caught fish in the harbour and enjoy it with the whole family. You can also visit restaurants in the harbour while enjoying the view of the fjord. Visit the Bork Vikingehavn open-air museum, where you can experience Viking history up close with reconstructed houses and ships. There are also Viking demonstrations, communal bread baking and scavenger hunts. The northern pumping station is an inviting vantage point to be reached via a cable ferry and to explore the area of the river Sjkern.
