Recommended excursions include the city of Arezzo with its beautiful historic center and Piazza Grande, where every first weekend of the month there is an interesting antique market, the church of San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca; Casentino Nature Park and a trip to the beautiful Lake Trasimeno in Umbria with its equipped beaches and romantic islands are also recommended.
