Description of holiday home: Holiday home - Skovmose Strand in South Jutland

This cozy cottage is located in Skovmose, just a few minutes walk from the family-friendly beach and the clear waters of the Baltic Sea. In the living room there is a wood-burning stove and an energy-saving heat pump that you can use on cooler days and evenings. There is wifi everywhere in the house. The house has a partially covered wooden terrace. The area is excellent for fishing and you have a filleting place available on the covered terrace, as well as plenty of freezer space. In the garden, both large and small guests will find plenty of space to play and play ball. On the nearby Kegnæs peninsula you will find wonderful swimming beaches, and Als also offers a variety of historical monuments and attractions within a small radius, such as some of Denmark's most famous castles and mills. Visit Augustenborg Slot, for example, which was built in the 1770s and now houses an exhibition on the dramatic history of the ducal family. The castle also includes a castle park and a very beautiful castle church. In Sønderborg you will find Sønderborg Slot, which houses a museum where several exhibitions depict the turbulent history of the region. In addition, Sønderborg offers a beautiful harbor with sailing ships and restaurants, as well as many good stores. History buffs should also visit the Dybbøl Banke History Center, and active vacationers will find excellent opportunities in the form of cycling and hiking trails that wind through the beautiful landscape, and windsurfing conditions are also excellent here.
